I’m a hands-on creative director/designer focused on developing creative solutions that are strategic, simple and most importantly have an emotional connection with the audience.
My career has spanned the east coast, the west coast and the third coast— inspiring, nurturing, and leading creative teams; art directing and designing award winning creative; and as a semi-skilled laborer on a never-ending home remodel. Regardless of the role, my eye for detail, good humor and strategic sensibilities are always present.
I have worked for small independent agencies, large international advertising networks and I helped build an in-house advertising group within Starbucks Global Creative studio.
My experience ranges from international brands like Boeing, SC Johnson and Sharpie to more regional clients such as Seattle Children’s Hospital, Heritage Bank and Penobscot Bay Brewery.
My work has been recognized by Cannes, D&AD, The One Show, The Art Directors Club and the ADDYs as well as being featured in Communication Arts, ARCHIVE, and Print magazines.
I am also a lover of photography—and I can often be found pointing a camera in the faces of my kinetic children—helping me perfect my trademark style, Poorly Lit Blurs™
Open to freelance design and art direction projects.
